Emerging from the overwhelming sadness captured during her "Blue Period", Sudo has created yet another masterpiece.

One of Sudo's favorite activities is to lay outside near our pizza oven and bask in its heat.  But, fire isn't just for warmth.  It also is both a constructive and destructive force when set free, creating energy that can power machines or even the imagination.  But, it can also raze everything in its path, leaving nothing but soot and ash in its wake.

Drawing inspiration from a warm palette of colors, Sudo attacks the canvas with a fan-shaped brush to blend together these colors, creating a composition that reflects the bright orange and red flames of a wood-burning fire.

For all you science nerds out there, the bright orange of most wood flames is due to the presence of sodium, which, when heated, emits light strongly in the orange.  This is the phenomenon that Sudo tries to capture on the canvas.
