COVID-19: New Standard Operating Procedure

Our purpose at District Derp™ is to bring hope and restore health. We want you to know we are doing everything we can to keep our employees and clients safe and healthy. We take great pride in the trust you put in District Derp™.

Our thoughts are with those who have been affected.  We hope that our communities rally together to support each other during this difficult time.

The following are the standard operating procedures we are instituting at District Derp™ to protect our staff and our clients:

Standard Operating Procedure for a Contactless DeliveryHouse

  1. Before exiting the car, put on a pair of new gloves and a facial mask.
  2. Inform the client that you’ve arrived via text or phone call.
  3. Confirm that the client has placed the payment outside of their home. This can be under a doormat or in their mailbox, etc.
  4. If they have: Place bag on doorstep. Retrieve payment. Knock twice as you’re leaving to ensure the client knows you have left, and they can pick up their painting and gift.
  5. If they have not: Have the client place the payment (in an envelope) outside of their home, e.g. on the doorstep, in the mailbox, etc. Once the client is back inside place bag on doorstep. Retrieve the payment. Text the client as you’re leaving to ensure they know you have left, and they can pick up their painting and gift.
  6. Prior to entering the car again, take off gloves carefully and dispose of them. Once in the car Lysol the steering wheel, as well as any other surfaces you may have touched with your hand.

 

Standard Operating Procedure for Contactless DeliveryApartment

  1. Prior to delivery: Contact client and confirm if they have a doorperson or not.
  2. Before exiting the car, put on a pair of new gloves and a facial mask.
  3. Inform the client that you’ve arrived via text or phone call.
  4. If there is a doorperson: Confirm that the client has informed the doorperson of this delivery and has left the payment with them. Leave the client’s painting and gift with the doorperson and collect they payment. Text client informing them that their order is now with their doorperson and can be picked up.
  5. If there is not a doorperson: Coordinate a way to do a contactless delivery with the client. This may vary case to case.
  6. Prior to entering the car again, take off gloves carefully and dispose of them. Once in the car Lysol the steering wheel, as well as any other surfaces you may have touched with your hand.

 

Standard Operating Procedure for Contactless Pickups

  1. All clients picking up orders must be wearing a mask that covers their nose and mouth.
  2. All District Derp™ employees must be wearing a mask over their nose and mouth and fresh gloves.
  3. Maintain social-distancing protocols as much as possible. Pickups will be kept brief.
    1. Do not shake hands or engage in any unnecessary physical contact.

Standard Operating Procedures

  1. All staff have been instructed to not come to work if sick or displaying any symptoms of COVID-19. Staff must verify that they have no symptoms before they can return to work.
  2. Work areas and high-contact surfaces are being disinfected regularly.
  3. Soap and water, as well as hand-sanitizer, are available at all times to staff.
  4. Staff will be wearing masks and gloves for all interactions with clients.
  5. Staff will be wearing masks and gloves for all work done in the kitchen.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus at this time, we ask that you request a no-contact delivery. Please let us know ahead of time if you would like to take advantage of this option and we will coordinate the logistics with you!
